As of 2004, the average circulation in Liverpool was still just 12,000 copies a day, 200,000 fewer than before the controversial article was published -

Seriously - if you want to compare, look a crime rates by population, as suggested above.
Edit: And some substance (misuse), as follows...
Data as of Jan-Mar 2006
Offences per 1000, Liverpool: 45.7
Offences per 1000, England & Wales overall: 24.9
Offences per 1000, City of London: 217.4
Offences per 1000, Greater London: 31.8
So, higher than the national average, and higher than Greater London, but nothing compared to Central London (City).*Last edited by realityhack; 17 March 2008, 16:39. Reason: * this statement was later shown to be utter garbage. HTHComment

Is there something in the water in Liverpool that makes its people incapable of accepting blame?
Did anyone see 'Pramface babies' last week?Comment
-
To add to this: Many of the alternative horrific crimes listed in a post above concerned the London Borough of Lewisham, population 247,024, offences per 1000: 32.1*
Not quite up to Liverpool's standards there.Last edited by realityhack; 17 March 2008, 16:40. Reason: *statistics may not be as close as they appearComment

People accept blame when justified, but some of your comments are incorrect and totally wrong.Originally posted by HRH View PostIs there something in the water in Liverpool that makes its people incapable of accepting blame?

Maybe there is something in the water where you live that makes you incapable of talking sense instead of the tulip that you are spoutingComment
