They don't hate you for that, trust me, it's your personality
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I don't feel that I earn much more than the people I work with as they are all either fellow contractors or managers/senior managers.

I also don't go to work in my car - a decent mondeo - as it's much easier to go by bus in this city of edinburgh (costs £35 per momth).
Though what with the roadworks on all the major routes (as they are trying to get trams running) neither method of travelling in the city centre is particularly easy.
                    It's Deja-vu all over again!

I roared past a permie colleague in my Merc SL55 AMG Black the other day waiting at a bus stop in the gales and rain.

Gave him a big smile and a cheery wave as I blasted past on my way home and miserable git just glared at me.
Was there a big puddle in the road by the bus stop?

Same thing happened to me in central London, bombing down Picadilly one rainy evening, straight into a giant puddle which caused a huge sheet of water to rear up like a seafront breaker in a force ten gale, and drench everyone at the bus stop.

I'm sure I heard some muffled anguished screams receding into the distance, but hopefully too far away before anyone could get my number
