Oi! My politics are not of the extreme right-wing! Moderate right-wing maybe.

I think that program confirmed what many of us already suspected.

Too many Brits are brought up to suck on the tit of the state, with no desire to improve their lot, or aspire to anything other than to get as pissed as possible.

The Poles (and others) seemed to be decent, hard-working people who had some pride and valued family life.

I think we need more of these people in our God-forsaken country.

Only problem is what to do with the stupid idle shytes that constitute most of the indigenous population.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Well yes, military service used to be the way of keeping the louts in order but these days, jobs in the military require a decent level of intelligence.

The Navy and the Airforce want skilled, clever people, not dolts.

The Army is tolerant to a fair share of thick-as-a-brick types, but even they are having trouble finding youngsters who can read/write/think to an acceptable level.

One army chap I know said in 20 years time we'd have to hire in our armed forces from abroad because the native stock would be too thick and uneducated to do the job.

                  Makes one think, that.

They could have a day a week in the dole centre where they can be supervised doing their CV or retraining or whatever. Not pulling their weight on the job and they are booted off the dole. Easy solution. We pay less to keep the country clean and tidy and the scrotes who do not want to work can be given the worst jobs to do until they buck up.

Vote ferret in your next election, you know it makes sense.
The long term unemployed are not on the dole. You can only claim dole if you have paid into the system and for a maximum of 6 months. Those on the dole are closely monitored and lose it if they don't take suitable jobs (and that's anything they could reasonably do)

However, Most long term unemployed don't go anywhere near a job centre because they are signed on long term sick.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Exactly. There are entire communities in the North East and South Wales who (in my personal experience) exist on the permanent sick. Mostly for 'depression'.

It's astounding that most GPs can't seem to distinguish between clinical depression (a horrible affliction) and malingering (a lifestyle choice).
