Anyone here had a really big win on the Bonds?

I had a grand first year (bought Sept 06), as a whole the winnings worked out at 6% tax free for 12 months.
This year slightly better so far.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

My grandad won £25 posthumously and as inheritance recipient I guess that means I won it

Mum won £20 on a lottery ticket bought the week she died too. Checking her lottery tickets was a rather weird experience...

A mere £25 this month, as is normally the case. That said, it was £100 in March and £1000 back in 2008.

He could give it all away to charidee and we could have a CUK poll to decide the cause

He'll feel better tomorrow, rather than if he spunked it on a couple of "friends" and had a brief sniff of the Phillip Green style high life .
