    Muppets.........

    http://www.betterdrivingplease.com/

Oh my word, such an easy place to target. Was brought to my attention by a fellow trucker as he has been reported on there.

This vehicle had its front foglights on. It was not foggy.

Someone actually bothered to report that.

My registration does not appear? This is most odd - I would have expected several reports. I must try harder.

Makes you wonder how some of the people logged the number plates of people on mobiles.

Hmm... That bloke just changed lanes and he's on mobile phone. Now if I can just reach behind and grab my sons colouring book and crayons, I can scribble down the number of that car. (Of course while remaining within the boundaries of the lane I am currently occupying)

I had some muppet flashing me because I had my fog lights on yesterday, I wouldn't have minded but it was foggy with visibility down to approx 10 metres at times. He seemed to think I should turn my fog lights off every time we came out of a patch of fog.....

Right so I turn my lights off and then back on 30 seconds later when we hit another batch ?? Far safer to just leave them on while I'm driving down roads that I know are filled with fog patches that severely reduce visibility, that way people in the fog have a chance to see me even though I have just driven out of it.

It's not as if it wasn't foggy outside the big clumps of the stuff either.

So for 30seconds ... or a half mile you have blinded the people behind you.

Also why do you think full visibility of greater than half a mile justifies the use of fog lights?

Visibility was about 100 metres at best with big patches of fog dropping the visibility to approx 10 metres. The muppet trailing me started flashing every time I came out of a big patch of fog when the visibility upped to approx 50 - 100 metres.

Now factor in breaking distance for a car travelling at 60 MPH and I'm sure you will agree that he was being a twat.

I'm quite happy for people to flash me if I have genuinely forgotten to turn off my fogs lights and they are not needed, I take offence when they are needed.
