I worked at GCHQ as a permie R&D engineer 10+ years ago. It wasn't too bad then, but then the bean-counters decided outsourcing was the way to go, so the once extensive in-house workshops and facilities were allowed to go downhill, the best engineers got pissed off and left, and now (from what I hear) it's mainly administrators and bureaucrats left sitting in their nice shiny new building wondering why it takes so long to get things done.
If they had any sense they would pay good rates to get some proper technical talent back into the place.

How much (or little) does it cost to register as a PI (i.e. professional stalker)? Sounds right up my street.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

For women maybe. I don't call sending a message to 300 birds and only getting replies off the extremely desperate munters all that exciting. Maybe I should have used a fake photo, it confirms I'm undateable by normal gorgeous sexy big-titted women. PAH indeed.

When I lived in Cheltenham around 2000 I got chatting to one of the regulars at my local, who was trying to decide whether to use Delphi or VB to build a user interface for a library of code he'd written over the years and had now compiled as DLLs. He mentioned that it was a whole bunch of stuff written in FORTRAN for analysing low frequency radio signals.

I decided not to ask him where he worked...

P.S. I told him to go with Delphi, given that he already had a lot of experience with Pascal but no experience with MS BASIC... just doing my bit to help our brave boys defend the free world...

Does that codec come with an SO19 officer as an optional extra?

It comes with 6-8 bullets in the head from Glock9 apparently.

But don't you think it's a bit cruel to the bees?
