Exactly...where do we stop handing it back?

All this fuss over a wee town near Scotland...a nice wee town but still...

Same applies though doesnt it. It was gifted to the Scots, it wasnt Scotish to start with. If we are talking about rewinding history then why do we stop at the time that is favourable to you?
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Of course parts are "a dump", but this appears to be true for all cities over a certain size. Knowing where these tulipe-holes are allows me to avoid any contact.

I wasn't talking about rewinding clocks, I merely stated that the Shetlands have a much more potent claim to the oil fiields, and that they are undeniably Scottish. As fas as Berwick goes I could not give two hoots one way or the other. You are beginning to sound like "Stan/Loretta" from the Life of Brian.
Nice to see that Churchill is still as "anal" as ever too. Well done sailor-boy, another telling contribution. Always good to get the retard perspective as a check and balance.

We werent talking about the oil either, it was just an observation to go with other points.
If you cant understand what the subject is maybe you should get an adult to help you or avoid joining in till you do.

Perhaps you should restrict your "observations" until after you have extricated your head from your @rse then? That way you won't come across so bitter and out of touch.

Very original I must say. You are so sharp you'll cut yourself one of these times.

In 1018, Northumbria north of the Tweed was ceded to Scotland, after the Scots defeated the Northumbrians at the Battle of Carham, which occurred across the River Tweed opposite Coldstream.
Edward the 1st then invaded Berwick in 1220, so Berwick upon Tweed was Scottish for 200 years, for the other 1600 years over the last 2 millenium it has been English.

How come should Berwick be part of Scotland
                      I'm alright Jack
