Nothing to do with Muslims - though to Troll every brown person IS a muslim - more to do with rural culture. The Mirpur rarely ever marry outside of their families. Not a new thing...I hear people in West Virginia and many parts of India do it. There is a specific Gene which exists in a small area of India, This gene is the link between India and Arabia. Had these people not inbred the gene would have eventually disappeared.

Anyway, doubt any article on birth defects will influence any single group to stop marrying their cousin..It would have to be stopped by Immigration rules.
