I had sciatica for a couple of months a few years ago. It does go eventually, and it is defo' down to a weak back or bad posture. The best way to keep it away is to do regular back stretching and stengthening exercises. Since I started doing these, I've not had it since.

My fella and I do nowt for Val Day. It's not that we're unromantic (we can be sickening slushy at times) but we just don't see the point. We make a point of doing lots of little things throughout the year as and when we want to which is far nicer than conforming to some social nonsense.

My birthday is on the 15th though, when I will expect lots of presents, dinner and a "special" cuddle or two.

Your fella is lucky to have a woman with a B'day on the 15th of Feb, you know all red flowers should be on sale by then, all resturants and chocolate too !!

        Happy B'day in advance btw

Yeah! See it can be done. You still have to celebrate March 14th with him though.

See. They are all coming round to the Sockpuppet way of thinking.

The way it should be. Whats the point of spending stupid amounts of money on a day when people overinfalte the price just becuase they can if you're a muppet the rest of the year.

Let's just call that my plan B. If all else fails I'll just become Jerry Maguire. Don't think I'll need it though...well maybe my car has already cancelled one date this week and it may stop tonights if I start crying over the repair costs and have to use the money I was spending on the meal to buy a new oil seal

            Class A romantic...thats me.

I must apolagise for thinking that women never take the lead in organising romantic stuff and that we should be all equal about this valentines day tulip. I know now that the 14th of Feb is a mans time to shine and women celebrate us a month later. Women...unless you want to start caring for a lot of cats. You have 5 weeks to get it sorted.

Steak & Blowjob Day - 14th March (work safe)

So here is my plan. I'll still let some suitable lady make the first move on march the 14th then I'll make it upto her 11 months later. Any takers?
Hrm, sounds like a regular Saturday night in with the missus to me......

they might be but they still spend your money organising it!
Some people are like slinkys, totally pointless but the thought of pushing them down a flight of stairs never fails to put a smile on your face.

As long as you get your end away I don't really see the issue.

Its more about fitting into some dodgy stereotype of the bloke must organise something than actually doing it.

You need back strnegthening exercises. I get mine from playing rugby for to long and getting hurt.. alot.

One result of Sciatica is the bum muscles getting super bunched up and tight, and these compress the nerve, and hence the pain. I use a tennis ball to massage my ass if the wife has tired hands. It works great, you put the tennis ball against the wall and your bum cheek against the ball... you then press against it, and you get a self massage and can knead out the knots in the muscles. It is not a cure... its a relief from the symptoms to get you through tough patches until you find a cure. But it really does help.. ALOT.
