That's precisely why I use the term. To remind contractors how inappropriate the legal definition 'employment business' is when they are dealing with limited company contractors. Not because I think it better describes the contractor to 'recruiter' commercial relationship than 'agency' does. The term 'agency' however, is just plain wrong, on both counts.

I agree. The term EB is totally inappropriate. So I don't use it. Recruiter is also wrong, in the terms of contractor. ( And I've just changed my mind, recruiters are superior to Nicky G ). Agent seems the most appropriate term.
