I know old bean - but hang on, I'm busy stabbing Moose - he's a tough one to kill, that's for sure.

Right, I'll leave you to pick up the pieces, as it were. Off home. It's been fun!

Sorry to interrupt, but this man love thread is a bit disturbing; the abuse thread was more wholesome. Anyone ever performed a manly hug in real life? It sounds a bit disgusting, on par with that dodgy French kissing business. Shaking hands is for puftas too. Men should be greeted with some sort of salute (the Arnold Rimmer one) and women kissed/hugged.

Some people are like slinkys, totally pointless but the thought of pushing them down a flight of stairs never fails to put a smile on your face.

Do you make a noise or say some words when hugged?
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

                  How to hug a man

Can we have some ‘how to hug a man’ tips?

                  Here are a few:

Hips should remain motionless throughout the procedure - even a couple of gyrations would be considered presumptuous. Best form is for the hips to be bent slightly away from the hugee, but timing and direction is key here if attempted at all. Knees and legs should remain rigid and straight throughout. Hands to remain above the shoulder blades and to the posterior (back) side of the thorax. Hands should not fumble about unnecessarily. Going on tiptoes is to be discouraged, as is the raising of one leg. Legs of hugees should be at least two-todger distances apart. Pupils should not dilate and zips should be left in the up position and todger in the down position. The hug procedure ends in deep growling voices, perhaps some slapping, a fight, or talk of manly pursuits, and not with giggling, talk of shopping or shoes.
