My workshop has similar equipment. Taken me years to amass it.
Just wish my workshop was as big as his.

Well.... Went to see this £200 polo, would not make the 10 mile journey home, so I did not bother with it!

Going to up the ante to a £300 car hoping this will actually get me home.....

Contacted police, they say public highway, unless caught in the act of blocking nowt they can do, and do not care that I have a van parked outside my front window all day and night.

He works for Mowlem, and he is trading things between his personal transot and the work one, also he is only lodging there, so may get some joy from contacting the fleet management peeps at Mowlem.

Best I can hope to achieve is to reclaim back my patch at the front, and hope that the other neioghbours suddenly take an interest and we get enough people power to shift the problem off our street.

Don't you just hate this kind of added hassle in life?

What do you expect if you live in a chav neighbourhood?

Stop moaning, work a little harder and move!

Exactly my point. It is not a chav area, but chavs have moved into the house opposite - the house owner chav has changed from a nice 2 bed semi to a 5 bedroom semi from building on his driveway to sub-let to other chavs.

            Nice.

            I need a hitman......

              Update....

Came back home (new years day) - chav beefcake lodger has his old BT van blocking the end of my drive, and his work van opposite my driveway. Refused point blank to move.

I advised to move or I call police.

Bozo replied he had an advisory note from police about parking on pavement, but as only advice not moving.

Police were great - they took his reg, the other van's reg that he also drives and called the company van contact and Bozo. PC said not to park on my side of the road, and to park squarely on the road, so a result.

House owner came back an hour later, moves his fleet of three vehicles onto the road from pavement. Then stood outside in the road looking through the window at me and shouts 'Flucking Pr1ck'! Hence contacted the nice PC again to complain about his behaviour.

This guy is Italian with a beefcake lodger and mafia links. Horses head anyone?

Gets tastier - Italian dude has built an extension over his drive, but cannot be occupied until 3 parking spaces are created on his old garden. As he has a lodger in the extension and no parking spaces as yet, I have complained to the council as well as the police being on his back.

Thankfully I am staying over in a Travelodge tomorrow night - this could get tasty!

Wilmslow - keep us posted, I get the feeling this thread is going to run for a while ... Good luck with the campaign against the chavs.

I think the £200 banger (maybe two) is probably your best tactic for now.

                    Pretty much so.

Technically not blocking, but parked up sooo close on my side and another van the other side.

I did call him an @srsehole, but as this guy is a chav skin head did not dare to take it any further!

Hence called the police to get him to move temporarily.

A good bonus that police are insisting that the pavement must always be clear and that the van must only be on one side, and not both.

Plod was great - said to sort it, or he would be over and makes arrests

If you're not doing so already, get a small notebook and keep a diary of EVERYTHING. Start with everything you can remember.

If things get nasty, that notebook will make things sway your way and be worth a few quid.
