My CRX has 160k now - could probably get about £400 for it but I don't ever want to sell it ever - regardless of what I'm driving in 5 years time - or 6 months from now, it will become Frankenstein's HondaOriginally posted by TimberWolf View PostMy Mondeo has 130,000 on the clock and I suspect it is worth a lot more to me than I'd get for selling it. It's a great, economical car. I've had the monster raving loony nutter cars in spades and it's nice to have a car that will just get you from A to B without breaking down or collecting speeding tickets.

Slightly picky but it only needs to be insured. You can get round the taxed and MOT's by applying for an agricultural exemption. This does give rise to significant usage restrictions (no more than 1km or aggregate of > 10km per week).Originally posted by Moose423956 View PostIf you keep it on the road it will have to taxed, insured and MOT's.
Agricultural exemptions are not hugely difficult to obtain. Granted if you live in the middle of a city you may have some difficulty convincing them you need the exemption because you graze a goat on the bit of common land down the road.Comment
