Hence all I can do is guard my area
If I was you I'd move to a nice area. You are a contractor, after all.

Was all the planning permission paperwork in order? Sometimes it can be surprising what people forget (if that's the word) to do. I know someone who had to knock down an extension to their house after trying to cut corners. A bulldozer at his expense may be more effective than a £200 car!

I live in Wilmslow, a very nice retired sherry drinking old folks area at that.

Problem being this complete arrogant chav has moved in.

Applied for extension, doubled it, and got reterospective approval.

          sucks.

saw a top gear recently where a car was bought for £1. But dealer made £150 as its the cost to send it to scrap yard.

While in f4j we bought 20 of these cars. Put protestors over roads. Got the cars underneath. Sterring lock on, keys out. Oil on road. Feb 2004 I think.

            happy days...

Maybe a caravan instead ? I don't think you need road tax for those.
              Or a car > 25 yrs old ?

Sounds perfect for my kerb re-capturing needs.

Where could I obtain a car for a pound??

                  I am serious!

Once his lodger moves out I should be able to breathe more easily, but, need to guarantee I will not be boxed in by a transit every morning!

If you can get a car for a pound, then why not spend a tenner and park a few outside his house too ?

Sounds like you are being intimidated. Including the the driveway blockage, I would keep a record of all anti-social incidents and make a case to the council and local police.
                      And get your neighbours involved.
Scum like that get on my goat.
