Pre-owned Audi A3 for 12 k VS leasing ?

I agree with you and I am sorry it sounded like the A3 will be the panacea. It is not. I can't believe how honest I am on this board - but you know what Emotional Intelligence is right ? I know that having this a3 baby will tune my mindset in the right frequency. that is it really.

Since we are all grown up here both me and you know that gagging is not the only way to get the birds. Many are impressed by confidence or weirdness or just because u threat them like they do in the movies. However the birds I am after - cute eastern polish etc chicks, are "ready" much faster when they see the car.

I bought an 03 plate (old shape) A3 1.8T Sport in Feb 2005 with 20k miles for £12000 from an Audi dealer, years warranty, most extras including leather, heated seats, 17inch alloys. Its done 33k miles now and Audi garage offered me £8k for it in px and private I would get about same, so £4k depreciation in just about 3 years which isnt bad at all. And its worn really well it looks like almost new.

Only thing I would say about Audi's is that servicing costs are expensive, even if you go to an indi garage. I'm due the cambelt and waterpump change in Feb and that will come in at a £720 from an Audi dealer and £580 from an indi. Saying that touch wood Ive only had one thing go wrong with the car and was the alternator need replacing but I recon that was due to jump starting a mates car from mine.

You could get a 3 year old Nissan 350Z for the same money and that will prolly get more attention from the ladies than a tuliptly little A3

Unfortunately Z4 and TT ( and other third party roadsters ) are not an option as I am over 6" tall...
