It's what being a grandparent is all about. Revenge on your grandkids' parents.

No kid is going to end up a spoilt brat because of the grandparents.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

You have to remember - these aren't the people you grew up with. These are old people, trying to get into Heaven.

You also have to remember that whilst they may be your children, they will be the ones who get to decide which nursing home you shuffle off to when you get elderly and infirm.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

When my kiddies were little I didn’t want people giving them sweets and chocolate, but my late mother in law was a born chocoholic however never had a problem with weight, hence she didn’t understand the issue with no chocolate/sweetie policy, and kept giving my kids chocolate.. anyway I changed my policy to no chocolate before having your dinner and always brush your teeth after eating chocolate, that way both me and mother in law were happy. One of my kids turned out a chocoholic and the other is not, lucky they don’t have problems with weight and they have kept up their teeth hygiene.

Hmmm I wonder what kind of a grandparent I’d be, I think am going to spoil my grand kids to death.

It is our inalienable right to spoil our grandkids.

Any spoiling of children is easily reversed, just unspoil them yourself afterwards. For every pound you feel your grandparents overspent on presents simply lock them in the coal cellar for an hour or strike them on the heads once with a coke hammer.
