My wife proposed to me on a non leap year - traditions don't matter any more....

    Be afraid......

My ex-fiancée proposed to me on 15th February of a leap year. She got quite annoyed when I told her she ought to have waited another two weeks, or at least asked the day before on St Valentine's Day

Still, she cleared off with another chap a few months later, so it turned out not to be that important after all

                      Bit like Michael Barrymore's marriage?
