Aha, I'm awake and alive- there's a market on down the road I'll be going to in a bit, and then off to the gym on the advice of a mate as the perfect thing to do after a session.

So, that's 2 nights in a row of hardcore party action and early morning arrival, and another to come tonight. I have a really sore throat though.

Which I have discovered to great delight has zero hangover factor. Excellent.

Funny you should say that, because we did have a round of sambukas. No flaming ones though, because they didn't come with coffee beans.

About eight of us turned up, and had a good natter. The others went on to a club; but I bowed out, not wishing to get as pissed as a mattress and waste half of saturday with a thumping hangover.

No doubt Sally Anne and others will soon post loads of pics on Facebook.

I remember sambuka now that you mention it. It had slipped my mind.

Bet it was that that made me so ill today.
