Brown is a spawny fceker. He gets out just as the brown stuff hits the fan in his old job - in the same way that Blair did to Brown. Darling must be loving this. 2 days in the house getting a kicking.

My guess is that the £900 every taxpayer has leant NR is not enough and he is going to start 'bank in need' where all us lucky tax payers get to donate some more into the fund.

Or it could be that the tax credits PC has broken down and that they are waiting from a guy to fly in from Texas who has the backup on a floppy to get his flabby @rse over here to reboot it. Until then no tax credits will be paid. This obviously has serious inplications for Greggs the bakers and it is understood that there could well be a serious pastie crunch heading our way.

Oh yes, I saw that, where they f'ed up that womans tax for several years by issueing her with someone elses NI number and then had the cheek to say she could only claim for 6 years back tax of the 10 year fook up.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Whatever it is you can bet it involves a substantial loss of revenue to the Exchequer. Given how much they've spent bailing out one bank and the war expenses, the government must be in some shtook. New taxes anyone?

Possibly a repeat of this from July this year?

More IT problems at HMRC puts taxpayers at risk

Another disastrous computer crash at the taxman that may put taxpayers' details at risk

HM Revenue & Customs suffered another embarrassing IT malfunction yesterday which may have put thousands of taxpayers' details at risk.

According to reports, the collapse caused taxpayers' accounts to completely disappear from the Revenue's system, while The Independent reported that accountants were unable to get through to any technical system on telephone helplines.

Accountants warned that such a collapse could - in the worst-case scenario - result in the information falling into the wrong hands.

They also said though that it would also be disastrous if it has simply been wiped out and had to be re-inputed.

BBC said chairman. I am selling for what I bought, unlike sasguru who buys high and sells low.

Anyone noticed how quiet Brown is when Darling is involved in anything. Not wanting to be associated with him.

Darling will be the scapegoat shortly.
