I have noticed that people in the UK dont take their shoes off at the door very much

I am always asking people to take thier shoes off before walking inside our place, they usually look at me like I am a facist footwear nazi.. and that I am impinging on their right to walk all the carp from Londons streets onto our carpet.

You'd be better off with the crap from London streets, than the fungus and sweat from some people's feet.
