Ok worst case scenario they want to get rid of him in a couple of months, in two months they give him notice (I presume your notice is 1 month) then that’s an extra month pay, therefore the extension would work out to be 3 months instead of 6 months!! Win win situation if you ask me..

Anyway this thread is about me me me me .. stop high jacking it
Not very professional, But can't you just train her in a really complicated way? Then just say to the PM "I'm sorry i'm trying my best but she just isn't getting the hang of it!"

Should have been Isa then. Or rather Aysa.

Or alternatively your original lack of a concise and clear explanation originally created confusion.

Actually I am under no illusions whatsoever. I always treat extensions with a pinch of salt. This is no different.

I was not bothered either way. I was not expecting anything at all to be honest as the project is very near the end.

I have had loads of activity from agents recently so I'm confident I can get something, somewhere should this go t*ts up.

My point is I don't think you can draw any conclusions either way but for me at least (and many other contractors on site here) its business as usual.

I always just treat my contracts like a [notice period] rolling contract. I am a little paranoid like that so have a big 'rainy day' fund.

That has risen to the surface, dried and been p**sed on by a penguin?

I like the thinking - teach them to do it badly, so you look really good.
