Yes but so is dying in the houses of parliament.Originally posted by AtW View PostSpeeding is a criminal offence
People should use a little common sense when driving, and not be so anal about speed numbers like 30, 40, 50.
There is a website forum dedicated to getting off speeding tickets etc where some self-proclaimed "experts" deem to offer advice:

Trying to cheat the fine is most definitely a criminal offence! Attracts jail time, deservedly in my opinion.
My views on the abuse of speed cameras as the governments way to avoid dealing with road safety are widely known, but if you do the crime you should get done.
Mine has null points as well, but then I pootle everywhere.Comment

We all know that speed doesn't kill, that there's too many speed cameras, and it's all about raising revenue. And yes, I've had my share of tickets. Annoying, but I was in charge of the vehicle at the time so it's my responsibility.
You know that if you break the speed limit, there's a chance you'll get a ticket. That's the risk you take.
Now stop whining. You're beginning to sound like a contractor rather than an agent.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

So which was it?
Too busy yakking on the phone fishing for leads to spot the speed camera?
Or did those CVs you were reading drop into the passenger side footwell also causing you to miss the speed camera?Coffee's for closersComment
