You are a wealthy man, why won't you just buy a car instead of renting it?
why would I want to buy a car. Contract hire means that you effectively pay for depreciation on a monthly basis. I hire cars that leasing companies get discounts on. I dont have to deal with selling it, I only need one service, one set of tyres etc. Why on earth anyone would want to tie up £30,000 plus on buying a decaying depreciating heap of metal , and then to have the shag factor of having to sell it is beyond me.
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

Did it not occur to you that hire contract companies are not exactly stupid and they get even bigger depreciation of their assets because their cars (especially BMWs) are driven by w....rs who know it is not their car so they don't drive it carefully and therefore value of car after this driving is even less than from "one careful lady driver"?
