          What was the spec of BMW - el cheapo 316i? Cheat rates mean they would look to screw you on penalties - made up or real.

                why would I want to buy a car. Contract hire means that you effectively pay for depreciation on a monthly basis. I hire cars that leasing companies get discounts on. I dont have to deal with selling it, I only need one service, one set of tyres etc. Why on earth anyone would want to tie up £30,000 plus on buying a decaying depreciating heap of metal , and then to have the shag factor of having to sell it is beyond me.

                      Did it not occur to you that hire contract companies are not exactly stupid and they get even bigger depreciation of their assets because their cars (especially BMWs) are driven by w....rs who know it is not their car so they don't drive it carefully and therefore value of car after this driving is even less than from "one careful lady driver"?
