My wife just sold hers as we needed five doors and a bigger boot for our imminent new addition to the family, she cried when it was driven away.Originally posted by the average man View PostClio 182, one of the last ones they made....Science isn't about why, it's about why not. Is that like a "Buy a piece of Italian exotica for 10K" Maserati Bora, or one with a starter motor that works?Originally posted by brollyman View PostGot a 1975 Maserati Bora 4.7 in the garage for the weekend...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Yep, and 0-100 in 15, tops out about 135. That's three up with a fridge freezer in the boot. And mine's the auto with tiptronic...Originally posted by gingerjedi View PostSo is that the 2.5 turbo then? Does it really do 0-60 in 5.9 sec?
I've been looking for something a little different recently and that was on my list.
Plus cruise, satnav, full leather, climate control, 6-stacker 7 speaker stereo and assorted other goodies. And its also rated the best car to get run over by, apparently...
Trick is, nobody knows what it is and make sure you sit inside, 'cos it will never win a beauty competition.Blog? What blog...?

PS. That's some 4x4. It is quicker to 100 than:
2004 Mazda RX-8
2003 BMW 330 Ci Coupe
2001 Audi S4 Quattro
1995 Ford Escort RS Cosworth (UK)
2003 Porsche BoxsterLast edited by DimPrawn; 1 November 2007, 18:16.Comment

I couldn’t agree more! The older STI import versions were slightly easier on the eye.Originally posted by malvolio View PostTrick is, nobody knows what it is and make sure you sit inside, 'cos it will never win a beauty competition.
Subaru would sell more of all their models if they bothered to get a designer in that knew what he was doing, I’m sure the entire range is getting uglier year on year.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You'd better believe it. Mal owns one of motoring's best kept secrets. Like the original Imprezas when they were rarely seen off rally stages.Originally posted by DimPrawn View Post15.52s

All Scoobies (except the dreadful Justy) are very underrated IMO. The boxer engine note when they're on song is magnificent.
I had 2 old school Impreza's, then a 330 Ci Sport Coupe (
- ultimate driving machine, my
), then sat in a 53 WRX. The driving position, the air scoop - I'd really missed it - so I bought one. Sold it when I moved house, and I'd have another one in a shot except I'm saving for more pressing matters at the mo'.
