I've consulted at EDS and they are a joke. Really, even the quality of most of the staff proves that they are incapable of putting a project through the correct procedures. Especially at the programme management level.
However I've also got to take a pop at the public sector loonies who are sent in as business analysts and the like. The amount of re-work and changes I saw coming through were just ridiculous. Then again perhaps EDS should have managed expectations better.
You know one thing for sure though -- next time the government have an IT project up for tender, they will again go for the cheapest option.... EDS.
What a load of b*llocks - you should be struck of the contractors list immediately!
EDS gigs are the best a contractor can hope for. Boat gigs, I like to call them!
They pay a STUPID amount, and you have **** all responsibility!
Boat? As in gravy boat, with buttery mash, turkey twizzlers, cake (deep-fried), icecream (deep-fried and drizzled with lard), more cake (deep-fried). And a fried egg on top and spam (also deep-fried)? Thought so. Fatty!
