So EDS aren't donating a large sum to New Labour this year then?

Do EDS stil get new project in Britain?
I thought they had screwed up so badly on various gov projects that the apogee of professionalism was now Accenture.Comment

I've consulted at EDS and they are a joke. Really, even the quality of most of the staff proves that they are incapable of putting a project through the correct procedures. Especially at the programme management level.
However I've also got to take a pop at the public sector loonies who are sent in as business analysts and the like. The amount of re-work and changes I saw coming through were just ridiculous. Then again perhaps EDS should have managed expectations better.
You know one thing for sure though -- next time the government have an IT project up for tender, they will again go for the cheapest option.... EDS.Comment

Current one - seven contractors. Between the lot of us, this week there has been enough work to go round for maybe 8 hours.
Boring, but lucrative.Comment

One client I've been at a few times brought in EDS to 'save money', booted them out a year or two later in a painful expensive divorce.Comment
