Yeah, cause slopes are full of skiers not doing the snow plough ...

Like I say, it's a stupid argument which is way past it's sell by. More appropriate would be competent vs incompetent - unfortuantely way too many people on the mountains have a strange idea of their skill levels being much higher than they actually are.

There's nothing clever abot going downhill fast and out of control, ski or boards, you just look like a d!ck.

I had every intention of boarding the first time I went on a snow holiday but for some reason I tried skiing first and have never looked back, I am now too old to start going through the pain of learning something new.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Skiing and Snowboarding: The Real Truth.

Semi-pissed numpties ascending then descending snowy hillsides on posh planks of wood, hoping against hope to be noticed. Then off to the tragically naff huts to top-up their booze levels and attempt to cop-off with similar sad examples. And the same, every day, for the next week, or so. All accomplished by spending bundles on the "right" gear, airfares, hotels, etc.

Finally a few days back home w*nking themselves into a coma when they gleefully recall their endeavours. Comedy of the highest calibre.
