                Went in January a few years ago. Stupidly long queues for average galleries. Crap shops selling overpriced designer stuff. Bars we were recommended were dull and pretentious. Food was average.

                Saw some great football though.

                Have loved every other city / town / hamlet I've been to in Spain but was really disappointed with Madrid.

                    Aberdeen. The only good thing about it is the airport, which allows you to get away from it much quicker than if you travel by road or rail.

                      3. Kuwait City (March 1991) - see above, but with burning oil well fires.
