Well rugger fans never were all that bright. Too many knocks on the head and post-match fart-lighting and urine-drinking for a great deal of rational thought to take place.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain” -

Yeah like you boys will be cheering us on. I'll cheer on England at any sport but rugby, at which they are the biggest bunch of c0cks in the world ... come on the froggies - get it up em!
Think I'm safe in saying outside England that that's a pretty global attitude!
This Welsh guy seems to agree...."If you can read this, thank a teacher....and since it's in English, thank a soldier"Comment

Well, I'm part Choctaw. I can not only confirm this but also "sing" the song in the original Choctaw sign language.Originally posted by oracleslave View Post
I didn't think it had anything to do with the Welsh at all.
Wikipedia says Swing Low, Sweet Chariot was composed by Wallis Willis , a one-time slave of the Choctaw Indians in the old Indian Territory, around 1862. He was inspired by the Red River which reminded him of the Jordan River and of the Prophet Elijah being taken to heaven by a chariot.Comment

Can we rewrite the Aussie national anthem for them? (this is fun
)
ADVANCE AUSTRALIA FAIR
Australians all let us rejoice,
For we are young and free;
We've golden soil and wealth for toil;
Our home is girt by sea;
Our land abounds in nature's gifts
Of beauty rich and rare;
In history's page, let every stage
Advance Australia Fair.
In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia Fair.
Beneath our radiant Southern Cross
We'll toil with hearts and hands;
To make this Commonwealth of ours
Renowned of all the lands;
For those who've come across the seas
We've boundless plains to share;
With courage let us all combine
To Advance Australia Fair.
In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia Fair.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

you screwed about, we kicked you out, Howzat?"Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. "

I've got a first verse...
Australians all please **** off home
'cos you are out the cup;
You couldn't deliver sh1t
the chances you talked up.
Your land abounds in nature's gifts
that bite and kill and sting;
without a pack you've shown again
you'll never win a thing.Last edited by Alf W; 8 October 2007, 19:39.Guy Fawkes - "The last man to enter Parliament with honourable intentions."Comment
