RH - I'm tasking you with finding the venue. We need big, not too busy, not too loud (for starting off). Dont forget, it's a Friday night near Xmas...so good luck with this
No problem. How many people so far & estimate? Did we decide central London?

Hiya - there are about 13 absolute definates, and another 11 maybes (possibly with other halfs??)
So anywhere from between 15 and 40 on the day?! (We'll know better nearer the time)

So we need to be looking at quite a large venue to cater for us all on a Friday.

That said, we were oK last year in that tiny boozer weren't we?! As long as we get out early and take up all the space (which I can do - I scare people off easy in London by talking to them) We'll be fine! Just somewhere central!

        Soho?
(You have a few weeks to do some "research")

I thought it was fancy dress, and that's why Sal wanted advice on nipple tassels.

                    Try

                    For ideas.

Large pub that's empty in Soho is quite difficult. I go to the 'Spice of Life' which is one of the emptier ones at Cambridge Circus.

Anywhere near Soho on a Friday night is going to be difficult after 5pm, unless I reserve a place - which is doable. Be easier, quieter and more comfortable if it was less central - say, Islington, Farringdon, Greenwich etc - but there's plenty of options.

You want the option of a sit-down meal or just ad-hoc snacks? PM me the list of definites and probables and I'll PM a list of locations to vote on - unless that's too much faff and we go with the first choice.
