Have you seen Fox News? I was out with some guys from SKY news and even they thought that their sibling channel made SKY look positvely impartial and highbrow. Good entertainment though.

I have NFI if either of the parents were involved or not but, if they were, their performance over the last few months performance would take some beating.

Gerry McCanns sister has just been interviewed on the phone (on the tabloid channel).

The police are saying that Kate kept Maddie somewhere for 5 weeks, then used this hire car to dispose of her.

With that media circus how was she supposed to have kept the bairn hidden?

        This is so baffling.

I could possibly believe that they there was an accident and and they disposed of the body etc. but the idea above is stupid.
More than likely the police are under intense pressure to solve the case - any old how.

Come on sasguru, get a grip. Are you saying that people suspected by the police are not always guilty?

When the first happened I wasn't happy with the treatment of Robert Morat(?) by the media. However it has got to the stage now where it looks increasingly like the parents may have been involved. So it's worthy of scurrilous speculation, and Greg, you love a good witch-hunt, admit it!
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I'm selective in my witch-hunts! And I don't have much faith in the police.

                  Me neither.

This one is a real head-scratcher. This latest rumour is intriguing. It could be sensationalist reporting or it could be a dramatic development...

I don't quite understand a lot of this (nothing new I know).

If the rumors have some truth in them, it beggars belief. If poor Maddy died by some misadventure etc why try to cover it up, it's not murder.

I also don't understand on finding your daughter dead that you could come up with some calm, cold headed plan and find somewhere to put the body for 5 weeks in a foreign country without the smell giving it away.

If you did accidently give your own child an overdose of pills and you found her dead, and you wanted to avoid any charge of murder, would it not be simpler to call the police and say your child has accidently taken a tulip load of pills?

I'm sorry but this is just Murdoch cashing in on some speculative "news" to line his bank balance.
