I did the same with a Focus for the missus with the same sort of plan, but less annual mileage. The savings can be spectacular. You benefit from the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty for piece of mind but don't pay a fortune for the privilege. It also had a few of the more rare items for a Focus like upgraded alloys and parking sensors.
