I got an ex-rental one from a car supermarket - about half list price, 6 months old - then it's worth the bucks. After 4 years, depreciation in price should be about £1500 per year, doing about 25k miles per year.... -
I did the same with a Focus for the missus with the same sort of plan, but less annual mileage. The savings can be spectacular. You benefit from the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty for piece of mind but don't pay a fortune for the privilege. It also had a few of the more rare items for a Focus like upgraded alloys and parking sensors. Hopefully, these will make it stand out from the crowd a bit more to the private buyer when it comes to resale.Originally posted by Muttley08 View PostI got an ex-rental one from a car supermarket - about half list price, 6 months old - then it's worth the bucks. I've been pondering that - probably looking for a new car in next year, and a mate who had a Mazda 6 said it was a damn fine car. Only thing puts me off in some of the lights at the back look a bit chavish... bit glitzy - if that makes sense...Originally posted by Spacecadet View Posti'd go for the Mazda 6 over the Mondeo

What utter bollox I could afford any one of those but I don't feel the need to compensate for anything, if I was to choose one it would be a Lexus.Originally posted by Colemanisor View PostLexus are for people who can't afford BMW's

In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

BMW's are for people who can't afford Merc'sThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
