Would you step in a help someone who is getting a beating?
I remember when Bapuss just yawned a lot, and Emily loved him. Now he's a mean mutha, packin' a piece, and ain't nobody gonna mess him up. Innit, bitch!
At least I don't wet myself when a 12 year old shouts at me!
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
A lot of the time the people who do these attacks won't risk it - if they think someone is going to put up a fight - they'll go for the easy target who won't fight. Just make sure you put up a front that looks like you mean business and can handle yourself. It also depends how tall and well built you are mind - if you're 5'3" - perhaps not a good idea.
But then again you may get some kind of nutcase, high on god knows what - that's just the luck of the draw.

Exactly! You think "Oh! A couple of 15-year olds picking on a sweet old lady. I shall intervene. Then she whips out an Uzi and mows 'em down." Society has changed.

It's not changed that much, all that has changed is the perception spread by the media that all kids carry knifes. Kids used to carry knifes years ago (in the 60s in the 70s in the 80s). In major cities in the 19th century people were garrotted by nefarious characters, yet people were less cowardly. The only reason it's more dangerous now is the unwillingness of people to step in, the kids know they can intimidate based on the largely false media image created for them. Just look at the average kid of today, they are weedy as buggery and largely all mouth, a well built adult could split them in two. The major problem is they hang around in large packs so it needs a community to do something, which we no longer have. But one on one you shouldn't be scared. Mostly they sh1t themselves if you engage them because they are used to people cowering away so they never actually have to do anything other than appear menacing. If the fear is getting sued, well use the law to your favour and make up a few salacious details.

Well said Bagpuss. And if there is a group, go for the biggest mouthy one first, then the rest will brick it if he hesitates.
I believe people have a responsibility to teach the young prats how to behave.
It can be seen in the animal world exactly the same. It's been proven in elephants, monkeys, dogs, horses etc that juvenilles without adults will run riot and cause trouble.
There was a program a while back where Juvenille elephants started killing rhinos in some park in Africa - until adults were introduced and started teaching them respect.
I've seen similar behaviour with our dogs - the older one will teach the younger ones how to behave.
So.....give the little monkeys a good clip round the ear!!!

You are SO right! The bloody media! Whipping-up fear for no good reason! The scum! It's not like there are kids cycling around with shooters, popping caps in other kids' asses, is it?
