Bloody amazing. CD comes on here espousing a Whites only club and gets slaughtered for it. The same people who took him to task are now supporting the idea of blacks only clubs.

Is it right to discriminate on the basis of race or not? Simple question. Yes or No are the only acceptable answers.

Not a simple question, and as I'm going to attempt an answer, I'll decide how to answer it thank you very much.

CD gets slaughteref for espousing white only clubs (I don't remember him doing this or being slaughtered for it but I'm happy to take your word for it) partly because of the context of his other posts. There's a nasty far-right theme running through his posts and we can judge everything he posts in that light. Others who've posted here in favour of white only clubs haven't been 'slaughtered' because there isn't that context.

Take the example of groups representing police officers belonging to different groups: black or gay. They exist to represent groups that have always historically had a tough time in the police force, in terms of discrimination from the management, harrassment from colleagues (and hostility from their own communities). White or heterosexual policemen don't need representation, because the police force is already structured around their needs - they are the 'default' police officer. Now, we can all debate how much things have or haven't changed, but the groups arose out of a genuine need for representation. What function could a white or straight police group carry out that wouldn't already be carried out by the Police Federation? I'd be very suspicious of one, but I'm a suspicious guy.

But I don't think most black only dating sites are linked to black power fora, unlike the white only dating sites which I referenced as being linked to white power. If there are other white only dating sites, fine.

Thye whole concept of "black only" is the point. If it was "white only" it would be racist, but it seems that equality only works one way which is why it will never happen.
