Considering the staggering size of the oil for food corruption scandal and the complete lack of ability for the UN to do anything other than to serve its own purposes you tell me...what chance was there that the UN could exercise its collective will to push through the above 2 resolutions in any security council meeting?

Ill give you a clue...its about the same chance as intelligent life being found in your brain

    hey Mailman,

One Question and one question only, when the USA pulls out of Iraq , licking her wounds, with in excess of 3500 (Registered Military Personel dead - not counting the "civilian contractors" or Iraqis) over three times that number wounded (my conservative estimates, although the real number is close to 50,000) and with US credibility at an all time low, with clowns like the current administration showing the foreign policy agility and creativity of a three stooges negotiating team......

I ask you what colour flag you will wave then ?

Will it be the red white and blue my un-fortunate son ?

I am smiling as I write this, like Le Cheshire Chat avec les diplomatiques that nailed old Wolfie, too funny, must have been about 30 or 40 metaphorical euro-knives in his back - oh the delight!!

The war was illegal. Perle admitted it. Stop being pedantic and be a man: admit that it was illegal and you don't care.

BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA...I think you will find that was America, not the mighty UN that kicked Iraq out of Kuwait

And guess what Mailman - what country used their Security council veto to stop a UN resolution to halt Iraq's invasion of Iran back in 1980 - yep - you gottit !
Awe bless, dont you just love it when some f8cker completely ignores the context certain decisions were made in...one where the west was going to make Iran bleed as much as possible even if that meant supporting another f8cker in the process

Thats what the President said - he launched the Iraq war - Because God told him to .
Actually, no he didnt say that. Allah, if even them ultra hard core religious monkeys in Saudi Arabia could understand his meaning then whats your problem?

It was the US who torpedoed the Iranian suggestion as to how to end Saddam's regeime (least we forget he started his career as a CIA agent - just like Osama!)
          BWAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA...oh peow peow Alfy.

Gee and here I thought Osama was more of a means to an end (this time making Russia bleed as much as possible for their support of North Korea and China) rathan than to create a ultra jihadi?

Oh bless, why let history and context get in the way of a good hate'n of the sons of satan

But maybe you think making Iran the regional superpower is a good thing .
          Clearly you do

Because - like it or not - that's what has happened.
Really...a country that cant even provide its own citizens with petrol is now the only regional super power eh.

          Awe bless...the ignorance

BTW, why arent you outside Westminster supporting your dear friend Brian?? Im sure I saw you there on Saturday supporting that peace lover and friend of the people, Roberto Mugatu!

Estimates put the American losses for June 1944 at around 10,000 soldiers KIA...yet here you are getting a boner of 3500 over the course of 4 years!

Ah my dear boy, if you dont embody the spirit of limp wristed westerners I dont know what does!

Awe I dunno but dont come crying to me when those terrorists who are sand papered in Iraq suddenly come lookin for a good time with yo momma

Actually, being serious for a second (dont get used to it though!). America needs to succeed in Iraq because if it doesnt the ramifications are massive, especially the sudden increase in support and popularity for terrorist movements around the world as they will be able to use iraq as an example of where they beat the great satan.

Unfortunately for the world, its morons like barely pointless (apt name ), Alfred and all the other surrender monkeys who fail to comprehend the issues that would come with failure.

Then again, Michael Yon has a very different story to tell...one where them sons of satan arent actually sons of satan but are appreciated by the locals who have been over run by terrorists.

But neh mind, I guess its easier to hate them sons of satan and hope for their defeat (either at the hands of terrorists or the democrats) than to face reality

So is Mailman's decreasing coherence related to the fact that he's practically the last believer in this illegal lost war?

Even some Republican senators are starting to wake up now along with the American public.

I guess in 30 years time, Mailman will be like those sad f<ckers who still go on about how the US could have won the Vietnam war if only they's had the political will and morl courage. Hang on - he's probably one of those people already.

You obviously stopped reading before you got to the 'Stop being pedantic' bit.

Indeed, I can assure you that the USA are a significantly larger target than I or my countrymen will ever be, you first..........

My name is actually a play on a large american corporate that was indicted after the Enron Scandal and had to change their name because of the massive impact on their credibility, here let me spell it out for you, I don't wish to be too over Bearing on this Point ?

You're sons of satan line is wearing a little thin, is it not about time you started the old Jew hating and Islamo-Facism (which is the language of the neo-cons).

I don't wish you well in Iraq at all, if a puppy continually defecates on my lawn, then eventually after I rub his nose in it, he will stop.

Thats what the US needs , a good lesson, and all this time you have China measuring your every move, don't be surprised if she out manouvers you for the next 1/2 a century, after all, your foreign office teams have shown themselves to be buffons of the highest order, unable even to play a simple game of brinkmanship with the arabs without resorting to a carrier task force on the doorstep.

                    Clowns!

Stop telling lies about the war being illegal. No one of importance said it, much less has any court of importance declared it illegal.

[quote]Even some Republican senators are starting to wake up now along with the American public.[quote]
And they are just as much a surrender monkey as you are...although Im rather intregued as to how the Dems will suddenly call the war off and expect that to be the end of it?

It seems the dems, and yourself, are in a real hurry to lose the war as quickly as possible

I guess in 30 years time, Mailman will be like those sad f<ckers who still go on about how the US could have won the Vietnam war if only they's had the political will and morl courage. Hang on - he's probably one of those people already.
Iraq could end up like Vietnam (a self fulfilling prophesy perhaps) where the lack of a political backbone and people willing to fight their own country will lose the war by not allowing the military to do its job.

Never fear though, while people like you are around the west will never be able to win anything! Au bay, you might as well surrender now before the next conflict begins...maybe turn your home in to a mosque to save the hassle?
