A few years back I had an old Series III SWB Pickup and a Fergie T20. Both ran without fault, and if they did fault it was usually nothing you could'nt fix with a few well placed blows from a lump hammer.

This was back in the days when I had 4 horses, 2 Ponies and 10 acres of land to take care of. Divorce took care of that and now I have less land, fewer vehicles and fingernails that aren't caked in engine oil and horse sh*t

These days I wouldn't own a 4x4, no point. If you need the space get an MPV.

Audi A4 Quattro here. Proof that 4x4 doesn't mean a huge gas guzzler.

Many moons ago I had a modified 4x4 Sierra Cosworth. It went with me Essex gaff (at the time)

One of my ex's dad had one. He never got the hang of the hand brake and regularly rolled backwards into people at the lights. Never noticed that he did any damage as it was always so slow motion, and they were prats for stopping so close at lights on a hill. Was so funny watching the ensuing arguments.
