My Discos given up the ghost, the following need fixing !!!

So I've got 15k put away to replace the car, I need 7 seats, do I :-

OSF seat adjusted not connected
Rear washer jet blocked
Clutch very high & fingers felt through pedal
Rear wiper blade split
Diff lock lever seized.
Leak off pipes leaking
‘P’ gasket leaking.
Drop arm end steering link worn.
Rocker cover gasket leaking.
All brake discs & pads require replacement.
Steering box leaking
Front wheel bearings have excessive play.
Front shock absorbers weak & leaking.
Front radius arm bushes unsafe.
Rear axle bump stops missing.
Rear prop rubber joint badly split.
Rear shock bushes upper & lower badly worn.
Front prop UJ exploded.
Gearbox oil leaks.
Rear diff pinion seal leaking.
Transfer box oil leaks.
Front diff pinion seal leaking.
All oils poor
Rear dickie seat insecure.
Rear floor not attached.
NSR wheel arch corroded.
NSR mudflap plate corroded away.
OSR mudflap missing.
Tow electrics insecure.
Front inner wings corroded.
OSR wheel arch corroded.
Rear anti roll bar D bushes worn.


a. Get a '03 Disco, Automatic ES - with all mod cons, inc Sat Nav

or

b. get a Mercedes ML370 again on a '03 plate, automatic with all mod cons.

Which will last longer, cost less and also be easier to sell on in a few years time.

Don't worry about 7 seats (think they are an option on it): for extra security reasons it will be me who will be driving the car - this will distract wanna-be attackers, of course you will have to pay me premium for the risk, but you do value your life right?

if you move from a Disco to an ML you'll be going from one pile of poo to another

seems the 7 seater with the best reviews these days is the Volvo XC90

still, to be driving around in one of those you need to be on .Net rates !

Just leave the missus and the kids and buy a 350Z...why are you making this more complicated than it needs to be? That is why cars go wrong...to give you an excuse to either buy a new one or leave the wife...in your case the only sensible option is the latter...

Oh...and in future...try condoms!

I need the 7 seats because:-



a. I have 2 children and the GF has two children, and we need some luggage space.



b. I go shooting at the weekends and often this is off road, and requires a 4x4.



c. I need a something that gives me good visibility, and will allow me to get out of a tight spot when emptying the shops. (read carries a large bag of cash)



so please, do recommend an alternative, so far I've not found one.

done the latter thanks, about 9 months ago.....oh and condoms, havent needed them for about 5 years, the snip cured that one !
