I gave up the car habit four years ago - currently commute with a Scott mountain bike - its a 20 min cycle (all on cycle paths ) to my work.

I stopped driving after a miraculous escape from a high speed car collision on the M1 a few years back - and some of our departed friends on this board have not been so fortunate.

what you reckon guys. Does vito have:

        1 more money then sense
2 car is HP or most of the money is a loan
        3 full of BS
4 drives this 'sexy car' but lives in a studio flat

car = depreciating asset. Waste of money.
My Saab 93 will last for at least another 10 yrs.

Like a boat an Alfa brings only two days of great joy. The day you buy it and the day you sell it

            Nah not true any more.

They're much more reliable than they used to be, more of a driver car than your average Saab.

                Ha ha...

Car is certainly not HP or Loan...I am luckily debt free...only ever buy cars with cash...

I am indeed full of BS...but not when it comes to cars!

And I live in a rather spacious 4 bed town house thank you! Albeit alone since my missus left me (think she'd had enough of my impulse buys!!)

As for having more money than sense...well yes I do...but that doesn't mean I have any money!!!

10 year old Primera, and the aforementioned S2000 for German toll road use.

                    Saabs are for old people.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
