Not for 10k unless it's been rolled and repaired.Originally posted by ClippyHow about a Honda S2000?
I would love it if a manufacturer could build a car that looks like an Austin Healy MkIII but with the mechanics of an S2000 I'd by one, ....if it cost the same as a mondeo!
I know the MX5 is sort of retro looking but it doesn’t go far enough.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

Not necessarily - they may be high milers, but it's a Honda and it takes it in it's stride.Originally posted by gingerjediNot for 10k unless it's been rolled and repaired.Comment

What about a Land Rover Defender, according to Top Gear the coolest car ever!Politicians are wonderfull people, as long as they stay away from things they don't understand, like working for a living!Comment

I can't remember the car think it was an old E type jag, but there is a company in the UK that specialises in getting E- types sticking in modern brakes, tyres, suspension & engine, but keeping the original look. So you have a classic car that has modern day sports car performance.Originally posted by gingerjediNot for 10k unless it's been rolled and repaired.

I know there was a company doing the old 'James Dean' style Porsche but they are silly money, I want Honda or Mazda to do a cheap version I mean there's no reason why they cant look as good as they did and produce them at a reasonable cost is there?Science isn't about why, it's about why not. Yeah I think it's the Porsche Speedster and they were using the Subaru WRX engine and drivetrain, but yeah silly money. Mazda do a turbo version of it's MX5 which is pretty quick, but not sold in the UK.Originally posted by gingerjediI know there was a company doing the old 'James Dean' style Porsche but they are silly money, I want Honda or Mazda to do a cheap version I mean there's no reason why they cant look as good as they did and produce them at a reasonable cost is there?Comment

Yeah, I saw that on Top Gear as well - costs serious money though.Originally posted by XTCI can't remember the car think it was an old E type jag, but there is a company in the UK that specialises in getting E- types sticking in modern brakes, tyres, suspension & engine, but keeping the original look.
