ok so I'm doing a tour round S. Ireland in the Summer for a few weeks, so thought if I got a convertible it might make it a bit more fun. Last year I had a Mazda MX-5 which was very good, but I'm looking for something a little different.

I've 10k to spend, on something, but not sure what, I may sell the car after the holiday, or may keep it if it's a nice one.....I'd like a classic, but not sure if I'd get one for £10k.

Apart from eBay does anyone know of any classic car web sites ?

What would people recommend ?

Or a TR6, there are a few more on the market in that price bracket, if you want something modern and liked the MX5 then there are loads of cheap Toyota MR2's about at the moment.

the MGC with the straight six has the engineering pedigree

the MGV8 with the US derived V8 is too bling

nothing can beat the pur of the straight six the v8's sound vulgar.
