SA - so you don't pay for IR35 yet you said before
"IR35 - yes, its a good thing. We should definately be getting the richer people to start paying the taxes they should be."
So you are one of these richer people so why are you not paying up?Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Small firms will be able to claim a new 100% relief for new capital investment up to £50,000, claim a 175% tax credit for research and development, and claim a new tax credit for environmental investment.

Yeah I know you contract folks don't get pensions, holidays, training, guaranteed work, redundancy pay, sick pay, medical benefits etc etc but apart from that you are employees and should be taxed accordingly.

I just dont fall inside it - if I did, I would pay it.
And for people who DO fall inside it, I'm pleased they're caught.
And when they bring out a new tax to catch people like me, I'll hold my hands up and be happy about it.
What dont you understand about that? The pope is a tard.Comment
