Wrong - it's now £38.99. Gordo is expected to announce an increase in book taxes in tomorrow's budget.

Of course the use of consultancies has rocketted under NL - tey have no other alternative! What else are they supposed to use? There's no in house skills anymore!!

And I didn't say this situation was OK, I'm merely pointing out that you cannot use that as something to batter NL over the head with - the Tories also did it, and they are actually responsible for nl HAVING to use consultanices now.

When Labour got in they naturally opted for a New Beginning and outsourced to Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) instead.

Labour minister Patricia Hewitt used to be an Accenture director.

Thatcher may have banned "Andersen", but "Arthur Anderson" (or some other version of the same company) was always around during the tories reign. They were putting NIRS2 in from about 1985 - 2000! Same company, different name. They never had a break from that project, except maybe a legal week here and there while they changed their stationary.

Whatever your opinion Ginge, Thatcher did, does and always will rule

If she was still in power there'd be far less of this immigration nonesense and I'm positive we wouldn't be trying to turn our kids in to woofters through the written word.

You're absolutely right mate - there would be practically no immigration at all, cause no fecker would want to come here!
