Its common sense!!! Why aren't whole families of children gay then? If it's based on social influences?
or whole schools of children?

Surely if it was in the genes you would expect to see it run more in families, surely they would become extinct.

Surely if being gay was determined by a gene, then it would have to be a mutation. That is beacuse a 'gay gene' would effectively prevent itself from being passed on since it is not possible for a gay couple to reproduce - unless by the non gay intercourse route obviously. For example if a pig were gay, it would not reproduce - not without help anyway!

As for the books, I don't really care about gay issues. If that is what floats their boat then so be it. What I do take exception to is a 4 year old having to read books promoting homosexuality. By the same token I would also not want a four year old reading books about any sexual activity.

What would the reaction be if the prince didn't marry another prince but married a sheep instead? Surely that would promote Welsh activities.

A mate of mine met his half sister (adopted when he was younger). Before they met the social services sent him literature warning him about being attracted to long lost relatives, apparently it's a well known phenomenum. Something to do with finding familiar physical charcteristcs attractive. He was repulsed that they had even thought to send it.

The host of the genetic mutation is unlikely to show any effects from this mutation but the host's genes know that it is potentially dangerous if mixed with other genes. Grab a copy of "The Selfish Gene" or a university level genetics textbook and educate yourself before you spout such offensive rubbish to the wrong person.

You start off by stating that this is a speculation and then lead into presenting it as a fact with "therefore people are born homosexual".

It would make more sense in biological terms that if such a mechanism did exist then it would cause the foetus to abort pre-term
