Why are they teaching that being a homo is "normal".

Last time I checked;

-10C was not the norm in Leicester but it happens,
albino tigers are not the norm but they happen,
gypos paying council tax is not the norm but it happens,

being a homo is NOT normal. There are more people straight than gay and the ratio is not even close making it no where near normal.

Go fly a multi coloured flag but you are not normal.

You start off by stating that this is a speculation and then lead into presenting it as a fact with "therefore people are born homosexual".

I said that because it's pretty much agreed that homosexuality is a genetic thing and as such cannot be a learned behaviour. The speculation comes because it's not agreed what it's purpose is. Sorry for not making that clear.

No it wouldn't, because any kind of pregnancy for how ever long wastes a female egg which given that they only produce 12 a year is not something that is evolutionary beneficial - especially if the female is not the one carrying the bad genetic mutation - not to mention wasting food and energy resources. It's far more beneficial to stop the pregnancy happening in the first place.

As for the books, I don't really care about gay issues. If that is what floats their boat then so be it. What I do take exception to is a 4 year old having to read books promoting homosexuality. By the same token I would also not want a four year old reading books about any sexual activity.

Well there goes my idea for the book about the Prince who slept with every Princess in the land but didn't love any of them (for 5-6 year olds).

Unless you or anyone else can point to the homosexual gene I suggest you are talking out of your arse. If and when you can, I suggest we use gene therapy to wrong this genetic defect. No more bumming. Perhaps we will then find the gene which causes people to have an opinion on something they know nothing about. Let's call it the "thick as pigsh*t" gene for arguments sake.

10C is not the norm in Leicester bit it is not abnormal.

Perhaps the message is the same? Being homosexual is not the norm but it is not abnormal. It is statistically a minority position but quite comparable to being left-handed, which is also minority, not the norm, but not abnormal.

"Gypo" and "homo" are ignorant characterisations form a former age, offensive slurs in any reasonable eyes, but you knew that.
