Ryanair leaves 89 passengers behind

These planes carry about 190 passengers, so that's nearly half left stranded at the gate!

Apparently, the plane was still an hour late arriving back in Bristol because it took this long to sort through and remove the luggage of the passengers left behind. It would have been quicker to just let them on board.

And, AFAIK, it's only Ryanair that's done this and, as reported, this is not the first time either.

What a bunch of absolute ****s.

I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, even though they are the only airline that flies internationally from our local airport (Newquay). I'd rather drive an extra 80 miles to Exeter than fly with these bastards.

If I had a quid for every person who says "I'll never fly SqueezyJet/Ryanair/Wizz etc.." then quietly uses them when it's a little cheaper and/or more convienient I would be considerably more wealthy than I am now.

Airlines each have certain attributes, tedencies towards lateness, free perks, various charges for baggage, arsehole executives and so on.
I just add up the pros and cons for each trip and apply the "Ryanair Factor":
All things being equal for a given trip, I add 30% to the Ryanair cost to compensate for the itemized "Wheelchair Tax", and let's face it, Michael Leary.
You just add up all these factors and make a decision.

Ryanair might be the winner for a particular trip, I'm OK with that.

One thing for sure, Michael Leary doesn't give a steaming tulip what you, me or any of his customers think or do.
