Because there's a difference between kW and kWh.Originally posted by openstrike View Post
Those figures do not make sense. How are you sending back more than your total capacity?
Edit: 24 x 490W panels = 11,784W. For UK calculations of approximate output, you'd multiply that by 3 this time of year, so in a day it would be about 35kWh generated. In summer you'd multiply by 5.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

units are fine I just lazily didn't have the h on the end
all good the panels are amazing
WTFH is spot on with the calculations
yesterday the inverter produced 45kwh
the house used 11.80kwh
batteries were topped up with 6.8kwh
we sent back to the grid 33.50kwh
and we took from the grid 0.3kwh
what's not to like
much awesomeness

uhhh no
it's february and our consumption from the grid, for example yesterday is 11.8 / 0.3 going to be for yesterday 1/39th of what it would have been without the panels
do the maths
difficult to swallow I know, and that's how it is
rough calculations from the performance we are seeing this month look like pay back will be 5 years
anyway,
it doesn't matter does it lol
Milan.
p.s. and don't worry about the garden, plenty more space where that came fromComment
