Pointing out that you're pushing your own woke agenda is a pleasure, maybe you want to get that unconscious bias looked at.Originally posted by NotAllThere
I'm sorry Trigenare. I can't remember the exact phrase. It might not have included the word "offensive".
The point is that it was the usual "mores of the times", but in the best possible taste. Which is an improvement over the "woke" that triggers you so much, yes?
Now if you'll excuse me I'm going back to my Jim Davidson videos.Last edited by Zigenare; 7 April 2025, 06:26.Comment

The word "offensive" does not imply approval so why insert a word that not even the BBC dare use in that context?Originally posted by NotAllThere"Woke agenda"
- my post was approving a slight move by the BBC away from wokeness.
Anyway, if I had any agenda, I don't know where it is now. I hid it too well.

You were "paraphraising"? So which word did the BBC use that made you think "offensive"?Originally posted by NotAllThereOh dear, Triggy. You do wind yourself up so easily. I've edited the post now to make it easier for the hard of thinking.
I was attempting to quote, but couldn't quite recall what was exactly said. It was a paraphrase of a quote, not my own opinion. As I said, what I saw of it, and what I recall, was hilarious. The man was a genius.
Me woke? I think Graham Lineham is also a genius and what's happened to him is awful.
I suggest that when you're in a hole - stop digging. You got it wrong. Hoisted by your own prejudices.
As for digging? Not me, I've asked you to defend your use of the word "offensive" and you come back with nothing but excuses, and insults.Comment

So the word "offensive" was inserted by yourself on a whim, not knowing that by using the word you instill a context that wasn't actually meant?Originally posted by NotAllThereDon't know can't remember. But it's the usual warning they put out that might upset the woke or snowflakes.
I'd get that bias checked, it's making you look a chump! Either that or you genuinely are thick.Comment
