Nevertheless, the Occupying Power may undertake total or partial evacuation of a given area if the security of the population or imperative military reasons so demand. Such evacuations may not involve the displacement of protected persons outside the bounds of the occupied territory except when for material reasons it is impossible to avoid such displacement. Persons thus evacuated shall be transferred back to their homes as soon as hostilities in the area in question have ceased.

The Occupying Power undertaking such transfers or evacuations shall ensure, to the greatest practicable extent, that proper accommodation is provided to receive the protected persons, that the removals are effected in satisfactory conditions of hygiene, health, safety and nutrition, and that members of the same family are not separated.

The Protecting Power shall be informed of any transfers and evacuations as soon as they have taken place.

The Occupying Power shall not detain protected persons in an area particularly exposed to the dangers of war unless the security of the population or imperative military reasons so demand.

The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.
Ah so you can encourage displacement to ensure the safety of non combatants? Seems to be what is happening.

Not seeing you criticise any Islamic countries, who have far bloodier hands than the Israelis?

How do you feel about the ethnic cleansing of Jews in Islamic countries surrounding Israel?
How about the Genocide of of millions in certain Muslim sects in many Islamic countries.
How about the human rights abuses in Islamic countries - Israel doesn't have a proud history of throwing gays off car parks etc.

And Israel ain't too keen on them either.

Is it just about religion anymore? Do they even really know why they hate each other?

All totally irrational but that's people for you.

They're not at the forefront of the news at the moment.

The last really major conflict in the region was Syria. Absolutely horrific what that tyrant Assad perpetrated on his own people with the support of that other despot Putin.

Prior to that I guess it was the Islamic State terrorist nut jobs.

By their actions should they be known.

Israel has constantly wanted to be friends since its establishment its in their constitution, they have been invaded repeatedly by neighbouring Muslim states (who lost and are bad losers). Jews have been violently thrown out of such states. Egypt has seen sense, they prefer Israel to Hamas at least currently.

Yep the world is full of horrible regimes, many of the Islamic.

There are only one or two countries highlighted in the darkest shades of green, on this list, that I'd ever go to. Eg. Maldives.

But I wouldn't go to Israel either.

                    Why not?

I was there two years ago and had a great time driving around nearly all the Country from the Golan to Masada. Nice people, both Israeli Jews and Arabs, but rubbish drivers (lots of scraped cars)!

Mind you its probably a bit tourist unfriendly at the moment for obvious reasons

and they all should be denounced. To be fair to Israel they seem to be doing their best in a difficult situation yet are being roundly attacked. Maybe we need to ask why they are being attacked.
